UPDATES

If there is no information in the description (or 'Updates' tab) that updates for the product are not available or may be delayed, you will be able to download new versions for it in the future.

Products can be updated by re-downloading the files with a newer version using individual links (starting with http://p.allkeystore.pl) and reinstalling them (updating from a file) in the WP panel, by updating files on FTP or using a script. These links will not change, and new versions of files will appear under them in the future. 

When purchasing directly from our store, links are not generated and sent. You can download add-ons directly on the product pages by clicking the buttons.

Checking if there is a new version of the product

Before you download the product again, check if the new version is available for download. The panels below are used for this, separately for plugins and templates. Updates are usually available within 2-5 days of their appearance at the developer. In some cases, the waiting time may be longer. If the update is not available for a long time, please contact us - we will try to update the product manually.

ATTENTION! If you download an older version than the one shown on the above pages, it may mean that the files have just been updated, and the previous file is downloaded from the browser's cache. In this case, please use incognito mode or download the file from another browser. If you still download the wrong version - please contact us. 

For most add-ons, you can also check the current versions on the product pages in our store, where their current version is listed at the top.

Update via script

Updating plugins and templates via script is one of the fastest methods to update even multiple plugins and templates with one click. It only requires SSH access and a short one-time configuration for the website. The configuration description and downloadable script are in the article below:

Update via WP panel 

Install the plug-in as if you were installing it for the first time, but a message will appear that the plug-in directory already exists, and click the "Replace with currently sent" button at the bottom. There will also be information about the version of the plug-in being installed and the one already installed - please check whether the installed version is definitely newer than the installed one. The same applies to templates. In this case, the files are installed in the WP templates panel, not plugins.

Manual update via FTP

Plugins and templates can also be updated by unpacking the archive with the new product version and transferring it via ftp to the plugins or templates directory. The settings will be preserved because they are stored in the database and are not deleted when deleting files. It's best to use the free FileZilla program for this

FAQ  

How do I disable update and activation notifications? 

This can be done with two free plugins, the first one worth installing is "Disable Admin Notices"

It allows you to hide unnecessary notifications individually. After its installation, a button in the lower right corner will appear on the message: "[Hide notification forever]". After clicking it, the message will not appear again. 

The second plugin is "Toogle Admin Notices" which allows you to disable and enable all notifications about updates and activations with one click, as well as other messages. After installation, on the top bar (menu) of the WordPress admin panel page, the inscription "Toogle Admin Notices" appears, which hides and shows all notifications when you click on it.

Why is the product asking for a product key to upgrade? 

Please ignore this information. All offered plugins and templates for WordPress are under the GPL license. These products most often have full functionality and work indefinitely. For some manufacturers, they offer technical support for an additional fee and the ability to automatically update and connect to the cloud to download additional items. The key is only required to activate these features. Most often, only versions with the possibility of entering such a key are offered to encourage buyers to buy a more expensive version, hence notifications about the need to activate. You can disable these messages using the plugins described above.

How can I get a key for automatic updates and support? 

Technical support is only available for licenses with a key purchased directly from the developer through their official sales channels. In most cases, they do not offer keys for automatic updates and technical support for resale, therefore we do not offer them.

Why are these products so cheap? 

These products do not offer automatic updates and the license does not include technical support, and in some cases it is not possible to download elements from the cloud, which may be the most valuable functionalities, hence the price offered for the products is much lower.

A plugin or theme is causing an error on my site, what should I do? 

1) Some plugins and templates have a function that checks the hosting parameters and WP settings if they are appropriate. Information whether such a function is available can be found in the documentation. If the requirements are not met, please fix this before proceeding with the next steps.  

2) Most plugins and templates don't work well on the latest PHP, please change your server version to 7.4 which is stable and try again. 

3) Sometimes plugins cause errors by conflicting with something that is installed on the site, most often it is other plugins that are active. This can be fixed by disabling the conflicting plugin, or waiting for the issue to be resolved in the next plugin update if one is planned. To check what is causing the problem, you should back up the website and database, and disable all other plugins for a while, and enable the default WordPress theme, and leave only the plugin that caused the error. If this helps, you need to enable the other plugins one by one and check if the site is still working to find the conflicting plugin.

4) Please try to install it on a brand new WordPress installation to rule out other sources of the problem. As a last resort, you can also try a different hosting on a new installation to rule out the hosting as the source of the problem. 5) You can try to search for information about the error on the Internet. Sometimes it happens that a new update is buggy, quite often it happens when there is a new WordPress or Woocommerce update and many plugins are no longer compatible and developers are just fixing the bugs. You can then downgrade WordPress and Woocommerce if you also have it to an older stable version and wait for plugin updates. 

Trouble uploading a plugin or template zip file? Connection timed out errors

Some plugins and templates may be too large to be uploaded through the WP plugins or templates panel for installation or update. In this case, you can always update or install files via FTP. In order to install in WP, if we have an error, it usually helps to change or add the following PHP parameters in the .htaccess file located in the root directory of the site. This code should be added at the beginning of the file.

How to disable PHP notifications and debugging?

Often PHP shows warnings (Warning and Notice) that are not errors. Additionally, debugging can be enabled, which should be disabled by default when we are not looking for a problem on the website. To do this, find a fragment of the code in the wp-config.php file located in the main WP directory (if it exists, if it does not exist, add 4 more lines just anywhere):
